You Have to Live Somewhere . . . Why Not Live in Your Own Home?
If you've been sitting on the fence trying to decide if you should rent awhile longer or go ahead and purchase a home while prices and interest rates are low, I think it helps to look at it as, "You have to live somewhere and either pay rent to your landlord or pay the mortgage which goes toward owning your own property."
I tell my clients, "With interest rates and home prices being what they are today, you almost can't afford NOT to buy. You most likely will be paying to live somewhere, unless you plan to live with friends or relatives for free, so you may as well be investing in your own property instead of supporting your landlord's retirement fund."
If you would like to sit down over a cup of coffee, let me know and we will take a look at your personal situation and see if purhasing a new home now would be in your best interest or not. Or you can call me at (281) 381-0846.
